they wont cull feral chickens shitting on everything edible because its 'too hard to do'.
they didnt buy any tsunami warning radars with the millions in aid they recieved for the last big tsunami.
they can't afford buildings with refrigeration to store rotting corpses of their flood victims.
if the indo muslim terrorist found it hard getting weapons before well they can rest easy now.
once the black market does a deal with their honest leaders im sure a few thousand handguns might even make their way to our streets but they can ofcourse afford to get 1 billion dollars weapons credit from our old friends the russians because indonesia claims it needs them to better protect themselves from' outside invaders/countries.
theyre even getting a few submarines to explore thier own coastlines,the thousands of them lol
how will they pay it off?

what do the suckers here that donated flood money to the last tsunami relief cause think of this?

Indonesia pursues 1 bln USD arms deal with Russia

Indonesia has agreed to purchase military equipment worth 1 billion U.S. dollars from Russia in an effort to diversify its arms sources, the English newspaper The Jakarta Post reported Friday.
Purchasing arms from Russia keeps the country from being totally dependent on U.S. military products, which is important if there is another arms embargo by the U.S. in the future, Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono was quoted as saying.

Juwono said Indonesia had ordered five new cargo helicopters, four combat helicopters, two submarines and six fighter jets from Russia.

The 1-billion-dollar export credit, to be integrated into the state budget, will last for five years, from 2006 until 2010, although the first arms shipment is not expected until next year.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is set to visit Russia later this month after a trip to Japan, but he will not visit weapons factories there.

Juwono said purchasing combat weapons is essential for the military of a country as vast as Indonesia to fight external threats from other countries.

An Indonesian interdepartmental team visited Russia in March to examine the arms, especially checking their compatibility with American products, along with their maintenance requirements and durability.

Juwono said this is a direct purchase between governments, and it does not involve the private sector.

For the first shipment phase, the military will prioritize equipment required by the Air Force.

The 1 billion dollar budget is part of the 3.7 billion dollars allocated for arms purchases by the Indonesian Military through export credits over the next five years, starting effectively in 2007.

think they mean chickens and people when they say export credits?

also i wonder if they invested the tsunami money and are going to pay that weapons bill off with the interest its been earning?
