There is tolerance with shrooms (atleast for me). So if you keep trying like 2 times a week you prolly wont go anywhere. I need to wait 2 weeks to a month atleast between doses.

The only other thing that i could thinnk of is I usualy make a tea out of them.
I just Boil them for half a hour. So could this affect potency ?

I agree, but since I first posted this I read a post about a method of ingestion and tried it. I ground up 4 grams of cubies and mixed with OJ drank it down and was surprised to find that I started comming up in about 10 minutes. the trip ws about a level 2-3 and was real long lasting. It's the only way to fly and tastes much better than chewing them up.

I don't quite have to double the dose between trips within the same week but I do have to do something different like Fast or take abit more and smoke some weed.

Im really fucked up... no matter how many shrooms i eat, as long as its over 2 grams, I trip balls. I have a level 5 everytime now. I hullucinate for 6hours straight now all the time. I think it's cause my mind is so excited for them, they are all i think about since i've done them. I eat them whole, my friends make tea, but i say fuck that, i want the real shit. They claim that it is a little more clear and not so much in your head if it's tea, but i prefer to eat them.

Hmmm.. Not High enough...
First there's the dosething. One gram of dried Cubies equals about 10grs straight off the cake, not counting bloated shrooms (waterballoons) and shrooms grown under low humidity (a little dried out; more potent) and Mutants & Aborts (usually more potent if petite). The cubies I'm going to be blabbing about are dry.
1gr of dried cubies equals about 1.5-15mg Psilocybin: a tenfold ratio. Should you aim for the strenght of a reasonable Microdot or the average Psilocybin content of a Dutch "smartshop" portion of Shrooms then that's
75mcg LSD = 15mg Psilocybin equiv.
which happens to be in the midst of Shulgin's TIHKAL Psilocybin recommended range. Note that the dried dose needed for that is 1-10gr of cubies! Dried compost grown Cubies average ~6mg/gr, rice/grain grown ones ~12mg/gr Psilocybin. And I'm not even going into decay! A couple of months out of the -20'C/5'F freezer & your cubies are of very modest strenght, fresh Shrooms go off in a week at RT.
But that's not the case.
Individual sensitivity isn't likely either. People sensitive to LSD tend to be sensitive to Psilocybin & the other way around. But if you need BIG amounts of LSD you'll likely need alot of Shrooms too. (CAREFUL!)
With this in mind I suspect there's a "right" dose of Shrooms for you, though it might be a high one.
How I ingest: I fast for a mere 3hrs. (more & hunger becomes a bother for me: I tend to use small doses, often 1gr good Rice Cubies) Then the prayers get said (ifr you just believe in yourself: pray to yourself or prepare otherwise) and I chew my dried Cubies, mixing shrooms with saliva but avoiding the tongue, then I gulp it down with DIET 7UP (good sweetener: no inhibiting sugars like in juices & basically a CO2 & Citric Acid solution in water, which aids absorption & intensifies the effects) & take my next shroom. This works best for me: I find teas disgusting & capsules take longer to come on.
I found that fresh shrooms are tastier & a bit stronger then dried ones, but prefer the latter because of easier, er, dosing & homogenizing them (pulverizing or cutting to at least 40 bits per Tripper) assures each gets what he/she bargained for. One shroom may be great for a picnick with your drug-na?ve family in the park but a smaller other one may plunge you into the Adventure of a Lifetime.
What to do if the amount you took is too weak at the 1 1/2 hourpoint & you don't have more to spare? Lie down comfortably in a dark enviroment, preferably in a sleepingbag under the Stars (UNFORGETTABLE!!!) or in a bedroom, close your eyes & SENSE. You will likely feel alot less "zonked" but taking away all visual & audible distractions, alone in the darkness & silence can be awesome, even on a dose thats too small to call a Trip. (If I feel it, I call it a Trip! I always take more, though! I hold the Mushroom sacred, no matter how small my response.)
I really hope you'll recieve what the Shroom can provide!

Is it possible that tolerance decreases with psilocybin, When I wrote this post one month ago I was complaining about not getting off the ground on 5 grams of dried mushrooms. This past Sunday 5 grams sent me into a level 5 and beyond. Could it have anything to do with the method of injestion which I have changed from chewing whole dry mushrooms to grinding and mixing with OJ?

How long was it before your last trip? A month? Tolerance does dissapear after the first few weeks, so a month break probably cleared your tolerance a little. Glad you finally got off the ground.

The citric acid in the OJ may well have amplified your response by quickening your absorption & making it more complete in less time. But the sugars may actually have SLOWED YOU DOWN! For this reason I prefer munching & flushing with DIET 7-UP, which is basically Carbonic & Citric Acids in water with a non-interfering flavoring & sweetener that actually tastes good. (Aspartame)
It gets ME higher than using OJ, but the health-conscious folks who dislike artificial sweeteners may easily swap it for a tablespoon of lemonjuice in (effervescent?) springwater. Grinding also helps alot, but the taste that brings... Eeeyukk!
I've discovered that mixing the shroom with saliva (in the mouth!) aids in absorption. But I think the major difference was in the % of Psilocybin in your Shrooms. Individual response varies from trip to trip, but such a vast difference I haven't heard of yet. I guess your last batch was way more potent.
Did you drop off a Tripreport? I'm curious! And even more so: how did it compare to LSD for you? I like Shrooms over LSD 7 : 1, I've deduced from my writings & how often I took them. More beautiful & less severe than the 12h mileage I usually get from Lysergide.

Yikes! That must have been nasty!
Sometimes you simply can't quite discribe it, I know... It being al level 5 (and beyond) & all, considering your experience... Could you have overshot the mark? It sounds like overload to me like I had on higher doses & have seen happening to several friends. Me & my big mouth... 
I myself only use (rediculously) low doses nowadays & find them as awesome as the biggies, usually more cognitive tho. It's a completely shitty way to find out, but you know now you ain't highly insensitive to mushrooms...
5grs... I think i'd be NEVER comfortable with that much Mushrooms... I know it can well be all good & a peak experience but I find the risk of taking that much too high for myself. To me it feels like "forcing things to happen", taking 5grs I mean.
Shit man, what a crappy way to spend some hours Tripping....

Ripple here is my two cents:
This may sound dumb but try it. For a week before the trip practice meditating. You dont have to do it long even 5 minutes a night will work. Go into a dark room and just let your thoughts flow. If you find that you start thinking about one thing in particular just let that thought pass. (if your really good at meditaion you can trip slightly just doing it) then the night of your trip eat your shrooms wait about one hour then go into your room and meditate. You should really trip out. I think the more experience you have meditating helps becasue it helps you tune into the very sublte images and thoughts in your brain. try if you like...

Well I'll tell you Wiccan I never want to go back to that place! Today I dosed on about one gram and had a nice enough high. Good enough for me, but I don't understand the increased sensitivity since I started taking psilocybin. Like I previously posted I am trying to figure if grounding them up and taking with OJ vs. chewing them up has made a difference? I would love to get some input on this.

You've dosed up AGAIN?!
Oh man: you're an action-kind of guy! If I make a grand total of my 67 Trips & divide the years by 67 I end up with an average of 2 months between Trips.
As I said: it might be a dosething. But sometimes... People who virgin on THC don't get effects after the first toke. Perhaps this happened to you with the Mushrooms, who knows...
Combine the suggested meditative technique with your 1gram the next time: you'll be amazed how much even a low dose can offer you!
But: if I were you I'd take a holiday off shrooms for a while. It's my experience that if you dose up too soon after a Majorly Bad one, the Badness tends to pop up in your subsequent trips, even on the 1 gram I keep recommending to everybody. Besides: drug vacations are good against tolerance, too!
Alot of people think Shrooms are mild. I tend to remind them that Psilocin is just DMT made orally active & that eases things out generally...

Yes you are totally right but after my first bad trip it was kind of like "I got ot get back on the horse right away" Your comment about some of the bad elements creeping in is also correct. As I was comming up I started to think I had made a bad error in judgement, (one of the reasons I dosed is I went to the US open Golf thing and figured there would be lots of stuff to laugh at there in the open country). However on the low dose I was able to fightt off the initial bad feelings and enjoy the day! I will wait a bit before I dose again!
