garden basics cow manure

found this brand at walmart. i'm extremely leary. i usually get manure from a lady at wok who has horse stables. but...
this is a 40lb. bag for 97cents!!! anybody ever used it. it states nothing about fungicides on the packaging. and for thoae who have use horse and cow dung...how do you compar the two if they are even comparable. like i said my only experience with dung is horse and it is a composted mixture of hay, leaves, twigs, etc. does this store bought manure even work for our purposes??? thanx for your replies

I'm curious too myself. I think I've seen it there as well. The bag I saw I believe was dry.

It will work but nothin is as good as the fresh from the horses and/or cows ass manure the fresh stuff imho seems to have more omphhhhh to it.hope i added a little insight.

Havent used that stuff, but the store bought stuff that I bought worked just fine...We'll see if it fruits well off of it now...
