Unstable Temps during fruiting

My cake that took 8 weeks to fully colonize has now started pinning 3 days after being put in terrarium. 6 so far. But during the night the temps go down to about 68 because i like to put it in the dark for some time around 12 hours. Also the night is just colder anway. But during the day gets up around 80. What problems if any is this posing ? also what types of items would be good to heat a small terrarium?

That temp range is fine. I wouldnt worry about a thing.

Yeah dude, thats fine. You'd think that in the outdoors, they would have to fruit through some normal changes like that.

If it makes you feel better, you could always buy a fish tank heater, put it in a jug of water and raise the temp up. This keeps the temp a little warmer during the night.
