    #631603 - 05/15/02 11:21 AM (21 years, 6 months ago)

hey all, i made a post earlier

my cakes seem to be real crisp...really white and fluffy but crisp... i injected them with some sterile water in hopes to rehydrate the cakes.. the RH is 95% and i mist daily... i was wondering what i was doing wrong... somone told me to put some wet verm on the bottom of the cake and on top of the cake and wet the verm... now i dont know what to do, ive never dunked before...actually these are my first cakes ever...its been 6 days since birth, and they have gotton all bumpy and stuff, but i see no pins.. im worried, what should i do??
please somone with any input help!
thanks

You are doing everything right...My last cakes took 2 weeks before I saw pins. Be patient and you will see pins soon....Just make sure to keep your humidity very high.

quickest rehydration method would be dunking, just look around for the tekk, people usually do it after the first or couple of flushes , but since yours just isnt even having the first flush yet, might as well dunk it out.
