Hygrometer

Hey all, about to birth my cakes (yay!) but I'm not so sure if I should delay their birthday until Friday. The reason for this is because I do not yet have access to a hygrometer. I was going to buy one on Friday, but i was curious as to if i absolutely NEED a hygrometer in there those first two days or if i can eye-ball the humidity level accurately enough. I'd like feedback as to if I should birth immidietly or wait, and if I should birth; what are some techniques for judging the humidity? Thanks all for your help.

I've never used one... just use perlite and water... spray the sides once in awhile and fan 3-4 times a day... That will work fine...

Spray with... water? (seems logical enough but just making sure).

well mix your water with a 1:10 ratio H2o2/Water, put on finest mist possibe, then spray...

I agree....I dont use a hgrometer either. Of course, I have a cool mist humidifier on a timer going. I know its stays 98%+ in there.
