hey this is my first attempt on this it can be used for casings and cakes i need input how dose it look? dose any one see any problems before i waste a big casing

very cool. just be careful about contams floating in there. also if one thing gets moldy, its very easy to spread to multiple casings, keep us updated

Are you using an ultra-sonic humidifier? It looks like you are from the thick cloud coming out of your piping. If you are I would watch that the mist isn't so thck that it collects on casings or cakes. I used an ultra-sonic on my first set-up and believe me, I was not pleased at all with the results. Lots of contams and shit like that.

All ultra-sonics are not created equal. I have two. One's great
the other sucks. And they look almost identical. The one that
works great blows three times as much air as the other.
One thing about this setup, humidity naturally rises so it may be
necessary to valve off the top ones and open the bottom ones.
With milti hydrometers, you'll see that the upper shelf will be
ideal for cakes and pinning casings, while the lower shelves
will be better for fruiting the casings.

The mist looks way too thick, that will deffinietly IMO leave a whole lotta condensation in areas ya dont want it to be so wet....

Id watch it carefully and put that thing on a strict timer.....
