Do you have a pic of them? I definately wouldn't eat them until you know what it is. But for sure DO NOT eat the slimy ones. The green ones could be light bruising but I can't say without a pic.

I think the people who posted before me were a little quick to tell you to toss them. You very well might have to because what you describe can be contaminations but to the unexperiencedthat description may not be.

I am assuming you are completely new to growing since you are a stranger here. Therefore you might not know what normal shrooms are supposed to be like.

If you could answer these questions I think we could help you out a little better.

Do you know what bruising is?
Is the green on your shrooms or in your substrate?
Would you say the green is DEFINITELY green or is it maybe kind of blue?
Did you handle the shrooms?
When you say the shroom is slimey, what part of the shroom are you talking about?
Is the part that is slimey turning black at all?

To the novice the green could be what is called blueing or bruising. It is a result of touching the shroom or lack of water. It could also be a contamination if it is truely green.

The cap of the shroom could be described as slimey too but if it is REALLY slimey then it is most likely a bacteria.

Give us more info.

Some light staining can look green to dark goes to almost black color.

Green mold will not generally grow on a shroom first i believe. Is there any mold growing on the mycellium?

Caps can have a slimy, well maybe slippery wet, feel freshly picked.

This is correct. I liken the caps feel to a dogs nose. Wet and slippery.

If the caps have slime on them, which is like mucus and can be wiped off, then you probably have a bacterial contamination and they should be tossed. Usually these caps will also become pitted with time and start to discolor as well.

95% of the time you see green molds they are NOT Trichoderma!! Penicillium and aspergillus are far more common!
