buying offline in the US of A

Hey guys, i'm pretty new here and i have my reasons for starting to grow, just one really important question if you don't mind. I live in the USA, in California, where Mushrooms are illegal to have. I read that I could just say that I'm using them for research puproses, but, i want to know, has anyone else bought offline and had a safe delivery to their home in california? if so, what site did you use and... how long did it take? oh yeah, most importantly, is it safe?
