The Blob!

The shrewmen began this hobby several months ago. After a foiled attempt at dunking, they lost all but one cake. It produced an abundance of beautiful, perfectly formed fruits. They are now on their second set of cakes - 4 PF Classics and 2 PES Amazonians (Amazonians courtesy of the Shroomery raffle - thanx again!). The Amazonians are beauties. So are the PF's, except for the Blob! It started as a small lump on the top of the cake, but quickly grew into a Blob! It wasn't apparent that it was even a shroom until it became obvious that the cap was actually curled up underneath it! What is it, a fatass twisted sister? It's kinda hard to describe, but...the blobbish stem is about an inch thick with ridges...if it weren't twisted it'd be about 4 inches long. Yes, there's some mass there! Should they harvest it with the others and eat it? What is this Blob???

Definetly sounds like a fatass!

Well if you're sure its a mushroom, you'll be fine on eating it. If your not sure, then dont eat it.

After harvesting, see if your cake has a contam on the inside. If so, dont eat it heh

Well, it's definately NOT an abort, since it's still growing. But it is absolutely a shroom, because it has a cap. So it must be ok. It's just strange that it's the only wierd one, and it's totally bizarre! Has anyone else had such strange mutant growths?
