Can you inject spores in a LC instead of part of a mushroom?

I had some left over LC jars I was wondering If I could just inject some spores in them and would they still colonize the same?

yes. it's actually easier(In my experience.) Only difference is your LC will not be a clone. it will be a multispore LC.

yes they will colonize the same but the point of injecting a piece of a mushroom is to create a genetic clone, meaning mushrooms grown off that lc will most likely be similar to the one you cloned. multispore innoculations give you hundreds of strains together
