I would say it would help forsure ... especially if your room is much smaller than that

Well that sounds pretty hot compared to my puny little Sunbeam therapeutics hepa, bm lol It filters to 0.3 microns as well, but nowhere near that size of room I don't think!

Hell, if it's a commercial one you're looking at then I would say it would be ample

I have heard that home-quality Honeywell hepas (and by extension most low end hepas) aren't worth shit(compared to a more efficient, but costly alternative). I had the pleasure of hearing Paul Stamets speak, and one point he made concerned a Honeywell hepa filter. Stamets put the honeywell in closed space with a starting air particle count of about 2 million particles per cubic foot (as counted by a lab grade air particle counter, much like those used in computer processor fabs). After an hour of filtration by the Honeywell hepa system the air particle count had fallen only to about 1.8 million particles per cubic foot.

The point he made was that commercial grade filters work far better. The only way I could see a Honeywell of being any use is to run it constantly in a small, enclosed fruiting chamber. Even then the quality isn't good, just not so bad.

Or using it in combination with a hood.
