Is this another riddle? You ever see "The Bible and Gun Club"? The descriptions reminded me of that ingenius low-budget film. The pictures are nice too.

C'mon.... like it's even worthy of being called a riddle.
The fucking answer is plain as day... especially with that gif.

Alright but it seems to me that the post is more of a questioning of the lifestyle(s) that lead to the habit --in which case I answer the Cult of Consumption is to blame. See "Bible and Gun Club". If you don't have it I could send you a copy.

It is questioning lifestyles... every lifestyle can fall prey to nicotine addiction. "Cult of Consumption"... I like it- is that yours?

I came across that nifty phrase in a good book titled: "The End of Work: The Decline of the Global Labor Force and the Dawn Of the Post-Market Era" By Jeremy Rifkin. It's from 1996. With the "Cult of Consumption" I believe he is referring mostly to the rise of mass-produced goods and advertising that started in the late nineteenth century --basically the creation of the market of "consumers". I like the phrase a lot. It seems this Cult of Consumption has consumed me.

After reading Frog's "I'm fucked up" post, I thought of this old thing.

Fuck the pinks.

Zero7a1: do you have a lifestyle? Could this be related to your idea of aesthetic lifestyles? Do you smoke cigarettes?

I suppose I have a lifestyle... but I'll let others provide the distilled description of it.
The poem actually precedes (I wrote it years before the date I posted it) my informal studies of individuals' personal aesthetics, but it is very much in the same tune.  And, no, I don't smoke cigarettes anymore (it was short-lived anyways).

Swami:  Put it to a hip-hop beat and I will buy your song over eminem...

hehe
Though most of Eminem's songs are "massified," I cannot brush him off... the guy is quite skilled.

Frog: Ditto. Me, too. Nice, Sclorch.

Thanks.
