Updated Adventures of Captn Max...Princeton Morels
    #626936 -

As promised, here is an update on the morel picking opportunities in the Princeton, BC, Canada area:

There is now a buyer and at least 2 dozen pickers camped out in the burn area near Friday Creek. The mushrooms are not yet up but will be soon.

This industry is rife with rumours at all times and the latest I heard is that the chemicals sprayed on the fire by firefighters has ruined the soil and is preventing the mushrooms from forming. Fortunately, I don't listen to rumours and am packing!

The link below will give you a look at the area and more info and will be of special interest to those who hunt morels, especially if you live in British Columbia or the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Please allow time for the pictures to load.

Peanut butter and mayo...lol! Thats funny!

Well we've had some warm weather the past few days, that should get them started.

I hope to have an update on this issue in a few days.
