Can I slow colonization on a myco bag?

I am going on a 7 week vacation, and was wondering if it would be possible to innoculate a myco bag with Mazatapec and leave it for the whole time so that when I get back, I have a lovely, colonized bag waiting for me. Is this possible? are there things I could do to make the colonization go slow? Low temp, small amount of spore solution? Or will a bag left unattended for that long run into problems?
If anyone has advice or has had similar experience, I'd love to hear it.

Put it in the fridge, it should either let colonization finish and then stop, or just stop. When ya get home, put it back where ya got it now.
