Fact: Fox news channel is the most watched cable news network.^^^^^ Fact: More people watch Bill O'Reilly in his time slot than all other cable news channels combined. Fact: Despite their drop in ratings, Fox news remains number one in every time slot, every hour of the day, every day of the week.

yeah, hes just pissed that rummsfeld resigned.
Rumsfeld resigned? Well fuck, it's about time.
The periodicals of THREE different branches of the military were about to publish editorials demanding Rumsfeld's resignation... it's not like Bush wasn't prepared for it.
I just hope he doesn't wind up replacing him with someone equally as inept.

of course fox is #1. it's the only right wing biased news network. they get that entire demographic of people, which is roughly half the country, watching their channel. CNN and MSNBC split the liberal demographic which is the other half of the country, so it makes sense that CNN has half as many viewers as FNC.
So the fact that FNC is #1 really means nothing other than the fact that they've cornered the market on right wing biased news. If you think it reflects the way america thinks or something then i suggest you look less at businesses trying to sell news to people and instead at the statistics about how people vote.

I have had a hard time trying to figure out the "liberal" media and Fox News. I mean, why is it that the liberal media seem to own all, then there is the lonely fox news counter part?

I predict that at the end of this thread, the democrats and republicans will still disagree, and the libertarians and greens will still be smugly content that though they have no political muscle, they are better than everyone else.
Listen to yourselves, people. You blame the politicians for the way they act? @ all of you.

Oh trust me, I'm laughing about this as well. Like I give a damn what cable news network is number one or not. I'll watch Fox news even if their dead last. As long as they keep their style of reporting they'll always have an audience.

The last time I checked, Fox news always has a representative from both sides of the fence when they do their reporting on politics. This is the greatest advantage they have over the other networks, consistency. I have NEVER seen a report about politics that doesn't include both Democrat and Republican advocates. There is also many a time, about half in fact, where the Democrat gets the last word.
Or are the Democrats they put on the show too right wing for you?

all the other news channels do exactly the same thing. you think that is exclusive to fox? lol
besides, that doesn't change the fact that fox is the most biased news channel out there. of course you don't think so because you agree with everything they say, but to anyone in the middle, it's bias is overpowering.
sure they'll have a liberal come on the show every night. the purpose of this is usually to make the liberal look ridiculous and stupid, and if that doesn't happen people like o'reilly won't hesitate to just cut their mic off and censor them. i've seen o'reilly do it before. i guess that's fair and balanced, right?

Sometimes you really need to take a step back and not try to make everything line up with your opinions.
You're starting to sound overzealous... and zealotry is no doubt exactly what makes you hate the groups that you're criticizing.
