thinking of trying shrooms

I've been thinking of trying shrooms for awhile now, but I don't know like anything about them.

I'm a bit sketchy on taking them because all I've done is smoke weed (for about 3 years now) and the first time I smoked weed I started freaking out, thats why I'm a bit scared on taking shrooms cause I don't want to freak out.

I know all I have to do is just let myself flow into it and know that something is going to happen.

With weed I wasn't sure what was gonna happen and I ended up zoning on this comic or something and my sister said something and I started to freak out but that only lasted like 5 minutes and the rest of the high was great.

I'm 16, about 5'6 165 pounds, if that helps as to what doses I should take, etc.

Any help as to what I should do my first time would be helpfull I'm going to probably trip by myself with my sister there (sober) in my room when my mom's either asleep or out, but if its at night my sister will probably have to go to bed.

Another question is if I'm supervised say for the first hour, or less, then my sister has to go to bed or something would shrooming alone be a good idea?  That is of course if I can handle it.

And yet my last question (sorry for such a long post but I'm paranoid) is what if my trip starts to go bad, I heard from this one guy that if it does you just have to throw up and its okay but I figure thats most likely wrong, so if I freak out is there something I can do or take to make it feel better?  Maybe try the cheech and chong method ..... "melloww.... mmeellloooww...." without the whole RRRRAAWRRRR hah.. anyay any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read this. :smile:

If pot made you freak out then shrooms probably will too. But don't let that stop you. Seriously. You'll be fine.

mmm... i would advise you do somthing while tripping. partys are very very fun if you like them. alota things happening around and intersting. maybe just being on a beach but im not sure tripping for the 1st time in your room, maybe alone will be such a possitive expirience. in the other hand dont do it where you'll get paranoid or scared.
also, if you can find a person who has some expiriane it can be a good idea him bein with you.
just remember it'll all go away in the end so dont get all paranoid thinking you'll never be normal again - iv seen it happen too many times.
long as it takes, it'll end so dont worry.

and if you feel alittel diffrent the nexy few days it's ok - the long term psychological effects will fade out also (if they come in the 1st place...).
1st time i took lsd i forgot i took it coz it was realy weak and a few days later i thought i was crazy and i didnt know why. just when i sat i tried to rationlize i rememberd i took a trip 2 days ago.

At 16, my first impluse is to comment on your age, but by posting here, you're in the running for being a responsible adult.
That said, tripping is very personal. If grass freaked you out, I'd say shrooms will blow your head off. SO, if you are still compelled to take them, and by all means, don't let anyone tell you how to enjoy yourself, I'd take a small dose (1- 1.5 grms) this way even at your peak, you wont be melting into the rug, or drinking out of the toilet.
If your sis goes to sleep, a lot can happen. I dont know what kind of fruit you have, but I have had trips that last for upwards of 8 hours. Sometimes I fell asleep, and wake up, and I'm still triping. So, if you are able, try to do it out of your home. You dont need Mom sticking her head in, to see if your OK, that will kill your trip .
As suggsted, a party, or an overnight stay at a freinds house is preferable. A sitter is advised, an experienced is best, but a cool headed person, who will not call 911 when/if you try to convince them your dying should be your choice. You see, it can be a wonderful thing to experience, but it can also not go well.
A brief comment on puking - my broter swears that he HAS to puke for the trip to begin. I dont puke, ever, but I have an iron stomach. Besides I dont relish the thought of looking at my puke sober, let alone high.
My only advice to you is to trip on a low dose, with a friend, on a night when you know you can spend the entire next day sleeping/resting. If you can get a hold of vailum, or zanax, it will help with the possible sleeplessness- (usually found when taking higher doses) Again, each person, each trip is diffrent. Just use your head. Look up EROWID for excellent medical/side effects/trip reports.

obviously you want to be responsible when experimenting with any drug, however don't dwell on it too much. do what you think you should do. if you want to shroom then by all means shroom, otherwise don't. its all pretty personal anyways...
