R.I.P. Mike Bizzle
    #6256494 - 11/07/06 05:48 AM (17 years, 5 months ago)

The drunk driving finally caught up with him.
He had a head on collision Sunday night/early Monday morning.
His family and friends gathered around him that day, some prayed for a miracle, and some believed what the Dr.s had to say.
It would have been easy to be hopeful. His body left little sign of the massive brain damage they said was inside. But he died.
Right there in front of me, and his family he died.

He was a friend of mine.

Didn't even realize how poetic that sounded till i was done writing it .

Its life. These things happen. Never had anyone close die before, but i think i'm dealing with things o.k.
This guy was one of my best friends. I'v known him for like 5 years. I was his best friend. We had just hung out 2 nights before it all happened.
He left behind the love of his life, carrying his child. They are both 19.
He also killed 2 other people in that accident.

He probly would have been O.K. had he been wearing his seatbelt.
He defanately would have been o.k. had he not driven drunk.

He was going through rough times this past year, or so. At least he's found some peace now.

Just another reason why people should stop and think before driving drunk. I'm sorry about your friend, dreamer.

I can't get this song out of my head. You know the one at the end of Donnie Darko? Sounds like R.E.M might have done it.
"You know i find it kind of funny, find it kind of sad..."

If somebody posts it, i might be able to get it out of my head.

Im sorry for your loss man, it's never easy losing friends or family members that you really care about. However this is what i hate about drunk/drugged driving accidents. It's one thing if you wrap your car around a telephone pole and kill yourself, but when you start endangering the lives of others...

I feel sorry for your friend and his family, but my heart goes out more to the two innocent people he recklessly killed because of his irresponsibility.

--------------------
To get really high is to forget yourself. And to forget yourself is to see everything else. And to see everything else is to become an understanding molecule in evolution, a conscious tool of the universe. And I think every human being should be a conscious tool of the universe. . . .

-JG

i really am glad you came back to us instead of taking the other path. *hug*

-A_S (RIP your final words to me will never be forgotten)

I'm pissed at him for what he did, but mostly he's my homeboy, and i miss him.
He used to always tell everyone we were cousins...
Now i know why everyone always says the one thing you will regret is not spending more time with them. I wish we could have hung out more, gone camping more. Did more things together sober. I'm searching for memorys over these past 4-5 years, and there should be more there.

that's a rough deal for everybody involved ...

I am a believer in always knowing your driving ability and whether you are able to drive at a specific moment ...

impulse decisions always end up being negative in life, and with driving they can cost you your life ...
