Ozone and mush

Dear sirs, if i introduced pure ozone into my incubation chambers will it kill my spores and mycelium along with what ever contams lurk in there.. this is just a ? if its reduclious sorry for posting , its nagging me and i need u experts to sort this out... please reply

Or how about bubbling O3 through H2O2 to evolve O2 and water? At what concentration will O2 have a deleterious effect on mycelium?

Ozone is used in low concentrations by the food industry to retard mold and bacteria on fruit in storage. In higher concentrations it replaces chlorine in many applications (or can help greatly reduce the amount needed). My guess is that it wouldn't be good.

However in relatively low concentrations with mycellium already established, it might have similar effects to low concentrations of H2O2. This is only conjecture and would require further research.
