I smoked a regular amount after 3 day hiatus and held it in deeply in the dark.
At first the regular vines formed of familiar psychedelic flame or maybe dragon scales, and all sensations and thoughts shifted to a more resonant intensity.
I grabbed my pen and notebook and wrote about being like crunchy clear sugar glazed treats with several dancing contestants from the movie (take the lead) that we just saw concurring in the room with us.
But what I wrote during the 3 minute peak means less than I wish it would:
There is a funny Inchyy winchy House and inchy winchy sound like inchy winchily sound with lots of chocolate icing and there is a red plastic icing and a whistling sound – a strong whistling sound and this is it
------------ by the time I wrote this at least 4 minutes had passed, and I had no idea what I had written so I turned on the light the nursery rhyme aspect was so silly!

Interesting. Me and a friend are gonna smoke some 10x and try to break through for the first time today. I'm kinda nervous/anxious but very excited at the same time. Hopefully with some quick breathing exercises and meditation ill have a good experience.

Wow! I've never had the feeling of "Candy Land"! Sounds like you had lots of fun in there! nice nursery rhymes!
-------------------- I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because they are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted. That there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go in there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control.

amen
interesting that you heard a 'whistling noise' - sometimes I've 'felt' or heard a vibration/noise, whose pitch fluctuates with changes in tactile sensations - i.e. running my hand over a couch I can cause it to move to a lower frequency, then moving to the smooth surface of the desk it 'picks up' and spins around in my ears
nothing like gushy chocolate icing though - though that's hardly surprising. the dragon scales I've seen, yes

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Well, I almost broke through today and it was quite interesting but my friend didn't help at all and actually made my experience shorter. He smoked his half gram of 10x and didn't even feel anything besides a small mj type buzz, he must have a high tolerance. When it came my turn I loaded a little more then half of a half gram (about 3 thick bong rips) and held them in as long as possible. I felt the way I usually do when I smoke low doses of Salvia, tingling in my body and being pulled to one side. Then the proportions of the room deformed a bit and the walls were curved as well as my two friends who just got up. I starting laughing uncontrollably and I felt quite child like almost even like a toddler. My friends got up and moved across the room and this is where I almost broke through. I was staring at them but at the same time I was looking into this other place to my right that was completely white and there was a potato with legs, arms, and eyes in the white space. It was indeed very odd and my friends said I was laughing hysterically and yelling the potato man! the potato man! over and over again. I only remember saying it once. I felt amazing and like everything was going my way when my friends totally fucked it up. Out of no where my friend who smoked salvia earlier and didn't achieve any good effects got jealous and basically lunged on me, ripping my salvia out of my pocket. I was really taken aback and it kinda killed my experience. He then proceeds to load a bowl which agitated me alot! It totally ruined it, and I got really really pissed off, even more then I normally would sober. It was pretty lame and kinda made me never want to smoke it with him again. All in all it was a pretty interesting experience and at the same time a bummer.
But anyways I liked what happened in your trip redgreenvines, Hopefully something that cool will happen in one of my trips soon. Do you use a sitter?

sometimes it is helpful as she steers me from stair cases if i begin to wander.

It's good to here that I'm not the only one who who gets annoyed with people on Salvia. lol.
I'm glad your wife understands that you need quiet, redgreenvines. When I tell people that while I'm on Salvia they immediately do the opposite and I'm forced to endure an avalanche of questions and offended responses.
I'm not trying to be mean.
To me that sounded very Dr. Suessical...mayne you should write children's books on Salvia.

I wish I could experience Salvia like you do.
Still doesn't work for me like that. Theres a definate difference but nothing really psycadelic. I've taken to adding a little to joints, I can tell the difference when it's there.

I have made repeatable observations about layered mental states, and salvia is a favorite experimental tool for this. I think it is also important to observe the non-threshold state as well.
Before the threshold effect, the observer is engaged with a fluidly changing sensory world punctuated by recollections and thought cascades from sensory cues.
When the effect engages, the observer is faced with polyopia (multiple vision), an enriched set of accrued sensory layers, corresponding to moments that have recently passed.
The depth of polyopia layers can be light - springy, medium – stretchy - elastic, dense and syrupy-sticky, to discombobulatingly cumbersome and amnesiac.
Regardless or depth the ongoing process of consciousness remains a stream of signals from the changing sensory world punctuated by thought/memory forms; when the layering happens, and polyopia sets in, the observer is observing in and through more than a single discrete moment of sensation and thought forms.
Uncanny artifacts of thought and vision combine along with uncanny time and personality perceptions. Sense and thought forms become indistinguishable from each other when sustained longer than usual, and as each does persist for a longer time than usual, the polyopia represents a veritable “time-stack” of consciousness.
Very often, due to time-misalignment, something incredible and brand new seems like an old familiar thing, and the echoes of a moment’s thought reverberate and ricochet seemingly as thoughts of another person.
Observation of this state is very appealing to me, the epiphanicaly endowed - déjà vu dotted - synchronicity playground of this multidimensional waking dream of polyopia turns everything on it’s side and tickles the beast to a tender confusion.
