2nd flush question

i am using PF-TEK cakes...

this will be my 2nd flush i am growing Mexican , B+ & GT.... now on this 2nd flush should i put it into the refrigerator ? or keep the flush in a dark roomtemperature  ?  :crazy2:

na just dunk them, they already know to flush, what they need is more water.

what is the diff between dunk & flush ? because right now they are in a large pot filled with water :wink:

Dunking is when you put the cakes in water and let them soak for around 12-24 hours. The only reason the dunked cakes are put into the fridge while dunking is to ward off contams. As soon as they are done dunking, put them back in the FC.

A flush is like the harvest. Your first flush is the first shrooms you get, you pick all those, dunk again, and then you get a second flush. The line between flushes isn't always so clear though, you just have to use your judgement.

Your confusing something,you don't flush them,the flush is a batch of mushrooms that matures at the same time as each other,when you pic them you have picked said flush and then you wait for another flush to spring to life and so on

after the first flush is over, submerge them in distilled water in the fridge overnight. roll them in moist verminculite and put back in fruiting chamber the next day.
