I'd prefer reviews by shroomerites themselves.
I suspect that, like Snakes On A Plane, the hype will be more fun than the actual movie. For many I think the film will start out hilarious and then starts to sag halfway through when the novelty value is gone.
Borat's inserts to me always were the boring part of the Ali G show, and more recent stuff I've seen fell short in comedy level as well.
I'd like to see reviews by shroomerites
I'll probably end up downloading and watching the thing but I suspect it'll be more "observing what people like" rather than LMAO.

Reviews by shroomerites are gonna be I liked it or I didn't like it, for the most part. The NYTimes review at least puts it all into the perspective of "society" "today" and draws interesting conclusions.

There can be patterns in reasons why people liked or disliked it. The problem with reviewers is that they stand apart from the actual audience.

I believed Borat exploited the idiocy in American culture. Never a bad thing, in my opinion.

He did it to the Brits first.
