hell yeah, the USA used to have the SXRI, but its half way broken and the image quality is low, this new Japineese telescope has a X-ray imager that kicks ass!

not sure how the specs compare but the JWST goes up in 2013 and should help even the score.

yeah, also Goes-N goes up in 2012 
the thing is, the SXRI on Soho kicked ass, till it broke, guess who had the contract to build it? Halliburton, lol. now they can only operate it around 500Volts safely instead of the usual 650Volts if i remember right.
