Light on my casing 24 hours a day?

I understand you're supposed to have a 12hr on, 12hr off, cycle of light to initiate pinning.

My casing has already started pinning, and fruits are starting to grow. Is it okay to keep the light on 24hrs a day? I use my lightsource as a heating element as well. With it on the terrarium is 76-78, with it off the temp goes down to 68 or so.

My preference is to turn them off when I go to bed. This simulates their natural growing conditions more closely. Does it really make a difference? I doubt it, but it makes me feel better.

Well,

If you are using the lights as a heat source you probably should leave them on.

I only keep mine on 12 hours a day....but have heard of people leaving them on 24/7 and they had good results.

i have learned that fruiting at lower temps(high 60's) slightly affects to potency to make it a little better :smile:
just my ten cents :smile:

just my experience from eating the ones i have grown luvdemshrooms :smile:

also the best shrooms i have ever eaten was picked at 58 degress or so-
they were really potent-
i just know from eating the ones i have grown-
i posted some pics today-all those were grown at 68 degrees F-
they are very potent-
try it and see :smile:
i wouldnt bullshit you-

althought for some reason i smell bullshit drifting this way :smile:
