Extra nutrients needed?

I have a small problem... I started my cakes a week ago and no mycellium has started to grow. I've grown many jars in the past and never had this problem, however, I think it may be due to the fact that when I grinded my own flour from brown rice I didn't grind it fine enough. Does anyone know a nutrient (if this is the problem) that I can inject into my jars? Please let me know of any ideas, thanks.

Give them time. When my friend grew cakes she always ground up her own BRF and would leave it a bit chunky so I doubt that your problem is there. You will probably see growth in a few more days if everything else was done correctly.
