I have three jars ( two that were inoculated a few days ago; and jar "x", which is ALMOST there[next week!]) in a tupperware conatiner. The conditions in the cupboard where they are stored is fairly warm and so is the container....

Should I introduce a heating pad element to this?

do not introduce more heat if your incubator is already warm. thermal death occurs at 106deg. you should buy a temp gauge for your incubator. the temp in the center of the jar is always a few degrees higher than its surrounding air temp.
