If allot of the original casing layer gets washed off than I do but I have also just left it as is and the results seem similar so its like dalorean88 says,do what you think is right,or patch one and leave another and see for yourself what gets you better results

Water and H2O2 .

I put a 10 pound weight in 2 gallon ziplocks . Set it on top of the casing and fill till it's submerged .

Pretty simple . I usually dunk them overnight .

yea, i just dunked my casings. most of the casing layer stayed in place actually. just filled in the sides where it was pulling with some sterilized verm. The following flush was MUCH larger then the previous.

I don't even fill the sides anymore . I've found my biggest fruits come from the side . It's shrunk so it's easy to pick them , so why stop them from growing there ?

I never fill in the sides either,and sometimes they shrink allot after a few flushes
