Limiting awareness vs opening up awareness
    #6229750 - 10/31/06 06:08 AM (14 years, 6 months ago)

I don't know if there is a point to this, but i'm open to suggestions.

I feel that I am awake and conscious because I am aware of being aware. But I don't know at what point awareness is limited.

I'll give an example to try and get across my problem. Could it be possible to have awareness of another persons consciousness? Because otherwise I don't know how I can truly say that another person is awake and not automated. They may be perfect replica's mimicking what I express as proving consciousness, for all I know they may be my own creations minus my memory of having created them (hey we all misplace stuff from time to time), and no one is actually real.

If we can never experience each others awareness, is everyone seen as unconscious to each other? Which makes me think we can be both real and not real depending on who's perceiving.

I wonder if the impossibility that I can be both conscious and unconscious simultaneously, forces me to limit my perception by choosing one possibility over another, either i'm conscious making me unconscious to others, or that everyone is conscious just that I can't experience the proof of it.

If I limit one possibility and make a choice, am I limiting my own conscious awareness of what it could be to be conscious? Would I be what people say is dreaming through life?

Could accepting all impossibilities as possible, equal total conscious awareness?

Cool.

Could one say that nothing can be known unless we know ourselves which cannot be known?

Nothing can be known, as nothing can not be known?

It's makes sense in a confusing sort of way

Or shit, in knowing nothing, everything can be known because everything is nothing.
