i smoke it lastnight with some friends of mine...
all i can say is...WOW!
i held the hits in as long as i could and kept my eyes closed ever so slightly...i didnt even remember putting the bong down...i opened my eyes and everything was distorted but only certain things, like my friends eyes and the immediate surrounding area of their face...
if i could describe what i saw...(open eye visuals)
on a hot summer day, looking down the road, and seeing the heat permeating off the street, my surroundings were like a murage of waves...
right away i had to stand up and smoke a cig. it was that intense...when i stood up, and looked around, i felt 100 ft. tall and everything shrunk, even my friends looked like little elves!
it was a text book description of alice n wonderland!!!
it rocked!
what i like most was the "afterglow"...i felt like i was "in-love" again...that feeling when you breathe in slowly but deeply and sigh as you exhale....everything had a warm aura..i felt warm, cozy and cuddly...."in-love revisted"
all i can say is that i think ive found my "perfect drug"...

all i can say is that i think ive found my "perfect drug"...
I think it's been said that you can eat alot of salvia ... and you can have a few hours of this experience...

Salvia wasnt what i expected - i dropped the bong and fell over trying to stand up... weird experience. Nice vibe though.
Actually Australia is the first country to schedule Salvia - it will be a class A drug from 1 july 2002!! Its been pretty heavily used here the last few years.
You might want to try DMT - enjoy!!

I tried it a few months ago, and it didn't really hit the spot for me. I think it's a tricky drug to adminster, you have to hold it in for at least 20 seconds and take deep tokes. The first time was alright, but the next few times seemed a little dull, wore off really quickly and didn't really propel me into space. Oh well, it's not for me, but if it works really well for you, then good stuff

The key to a good Salvia experience is to get the extract.
You don't want to smoke a quarter gram of harsh smoke and hold for 30 seconds. With the 5x, you only have to smoke half a bowl.

Be sure you are on the floor and have somebody there to watch you. Setting doesn't really matter with smoked 5x salvia because you "leave" this reality and visit another. If it hits you hard, you will be staggering around like the village drunk, talking to the wall like it is a person, and will be completely out of your mind. The effects last about five minutes or so with the afterglow lasting for up to an hour or more. I didn't find the smoke from 5x to be hard to hold at all. It isn't harsh like dmt or ditch weed.
I am not much of a trip report author, but this is what I remember from my first time smoking salvia 5x. I loaded up 0.10g into a chamber pipe... it was maybe 3/5 full. While sitting on the floor leaning against the couch I took a big hit and held it. After 15 seconds or so I started to feel like I had just huffed a whippet. Sound started getting that "far away" feel, but nothing else. I let out the smoke and took another huge hit thinking that maybe I had gotten ripped off. I held the second hit and the buzzing got much louder... pretty soon I couldn't hold the hit any longer and let it out... as the smoke was leaving my body the trip came on hard. I was paralized and could not move. I had fallen to the floor and was laying there. Some kind of force field had wrapped my body and was slowly turning it around... I was rolling onto my side and couldn't stop it. At the same time it felt as if a hand had reached in through the back of my head and grabbed whatever it is that makes me "me". The hand was pulling "me" from the front of my head to the back. My eyes were these little holes letting in light to the back of my skull... serious tunnel vision. The next thing I know, I am in cartoon land. I am back in my childhood when I was four to five years old. I was with my family out in the back yard playing on the swings. The neighbors were there and we were having some kind of picnic. Everybody was full of love and joy. I had no idea at all that I was tripping or that there was another reality somewhere else. Pretty soon somebody inside the house called me and said it was time to go. As I left the swingset and started heading towards the house all the people that I had been playing with were calling back to me asking me to stay, but I couldn't. Next think I know my eyes are open and I am looking at the carpet. The first thing I remember thinking was something like, "I don't know that I liked that or not". The trip was very intense... I felt drunk for the next 20 minutes or so.
I have seen other people that smoked 5x literally get up and walk around without any idea what-so-ever of what they were doing. One guy stood out in the back yard yelling at a tree for a few minutes before he came down. He had no idea what he had done or how he had gotten outside. I never use a trip sitter for anything else, but for salvia you really need somebody there to keep an eye on you.

meh i tried it once. ruined my pipe cuz the smoke was soo nasty. no one wanted to use it again. the table in front of me became translucent, and everything on top began to hover, float in midair---- for 1 minute. bah nastyass smoke with a not very impressive high. yeah, i spose the extract would do a lot more, but if its just a more intense version of lower level, then its nothing spectacular. did i mention it tastes like ass?

yea.. you'll feel completely normal very soon. you still got that same 5x i sent you months ago? my first experience w/ it i packed the bong with a ~0.2-0.3g and torched it all in one hit.. holding it in as long as possible. sounds were distorted and i couldn't tell if i was talking to my friends, or just thinking... because i kept yelling at them, but they just kept talkin' to each other like i wasn't saying anything... and afterward, they said that i really wasn't saying anything. minor visual distortions. the wood mantle over the fireplace took on an extra dimention and flew back in the wall for some reason.
although i'd have to say this ain't the drug for me. after a few experiences, i haven't touched the stuff in many many months.

Damn!
I bought some 10x from Alter Ego (local head shop) and packed a bowl full for myself (girlfriend was my sitter). I smoked the entire thing in three huge hits, holding each one for 45 seconds.
My set and setting were perfect, dark room, limited external stimuli (one single lit candle used for meditative purposes before smoking, my girl blew it out as soon as I took my first hit).
I had not taken any other drugs that day, and the pipe was brand new.
And then... nothing. The damndest thing was the feeling of another presence (which my girl later confirmed, after trying some herself and getting similar effects) telling me (and her) that now is not the time.
I was dissapointed, but I'm not giving up on lady salvia just yet.

I would say the most important thing to have a sitter for is watching the pipe when you lift off. Once you go you will no longer know you are holding a pipe, and could easily start a fire, and don't expect to be able to even notice it for a good 5 minutes. Other than that I would say you can probally handle it with that kind of expirence. It is like nothing you have tried before though.
