i was wonderin if some of u guys could send pictures of ur drying chambers to me so i could get some ideas yes ive seen the FAQ and now how they are made and what is need i was just lookin for some different ideas thanx

It's dead simple. You can either fan dry or mini-heat dry (with a 60w lamp about 2-3inches up from a black t-shirt covering the mushrooms...just make sure you dont go about 90degrees and you wont loose any potency). and then transfer to a dessicant chamber. For my dessicant chamber I simple spread the silica crystals onthe bottom, cover with two layers of paper towel, and then put the mushrooms on top. Make sure the container is air-tight and you will have primo psilocybe mushrooms. You can even dry the mushrooms allthe way with the mini-heat (60w bulb) tek. and it only takes 24hours.

I cannot send you any pics as I do not have any. The way I dry is real simple.

1. Place shrooms on something that air flows through. I use a furnace filter, but you can use nylons, screen etc. Place shrooms on this and have a fan blow on them until dry.

2. To get the shrooms bone dry for long term storage(more tthan a couple weeks), move the dried shrooms into a tupperware container just large enough to hold the shrooms and a dessicant. I use 450 grams of silica gel with a indicator to determine when they have become saturated(it is reusable). Many sources for this, I think mine came from Cabelas online catalog.

That is all there is to it. The fan portion takes a day or two and the dessicant portion another day or two. Once bone dry place some rice in a canning jar (rice absorbs moisture and place the shrooms on top of that and put the cover on. They will keep for years.

A box fan facing down, sitting on books, running on low. A piece of plastic screen is over the fan. Takes 3 days to dry for me.
