agar isn't setting

today i made a PDA with the following:

100 ml potato water
1.2g honey
0.5g agar

i pourded the sterilized solution into 3 containers (tuna fish tins :tongue:

) then sealed them with cling film. the layers are only about 1/4" thick and have been in the fridge for 2 hours, completely cold, but they're just a paste concistency. however the leftover agar in the jar that i kept has solidified.
i did stir the hell out of the boiled solution before pc'ing to make sure the agar dissolved, maybe the mixture seperated after sterilization? anyone had this happen? :confused:

Not enough agar. Standard recipes call for 20 grams agar per 1000 ml batch, so 2 grams would be sufficient for your recipe. Also, no need to refridgerate, it will solidify at room temps.
