Ludwig van Beethoven
    #6194110 - 10/21/06 11:38 AM (17 years, 4 months ago)

Is still alive. Listen...

His music carries his soul, feeling, and being. There is no distinction between Ludwig van Beethoven and his music. It is his permanent incarnation on earth. Through the souls of the living he reveals the great marvels and mysteries of his life, over and over, to constant comfirmation of eternal awe in the souls that participate in reliving his musical wonders.

I thought you should know that.  :smirk:

despite the profound intentions of that statement, I beg to differ. His music was only a fragment of his life. To you, perhaps there is no difference between a person, and the work that person produces, but I see the world through different eyes I suppose.

Seeing that I havent seen Beethoven in the flesh, and I only know him through his music, from my subjective point of view, there is no distintion between him and his music.

I am Jim Morrison, by the way. Acid delusions? Most likely.

Of course he is Jim Morrison...there are thousands of us.

The pain and sickness all over me like an animal. Then I realized what it was. The music coming up from the floor was our old friend, Ludwig Van, and the dreaded Ninth Symphony.

I love "A clockwork orange". One of the best movies ever made by the best director ever to have lived.

Stanley Kubrick is also alive.

A load of your mind? Where? Dibs on the pineal gland!

And wanting to be Jim Morrison is just as bad as trying to being the most popular, loud, alpha-male of the local posse. Morrison had a tremendous talent for music and prose, which got washed away by alcohol, and self-destructive arrogance. Throughout his latter career he did not correspond with the Doors outside the stage and recording studio (he showed up with his own crew, the 3 other Doors came separate), and was known to them, to Pam, and to his closest friends as an irresponsible asshole with a brilliant mind. You know how Morrison said that he thought he had a spirit of an Indian inside him? Morrison is dead, but the spirit lives on...

Who said anything about wanting to be him?

I am him. Regardless of how uncool he might've been.

Besides...he was an asshole for the greater good, and everybody else was wrong.
