honey preservation

Does anyone have any advice for storing in honey?
I do not seem to have much luck. Wet or dry they
seem to just float to the surface. Do I just need
to find a much thicker honey? Would grinding them
into a powder help?

Maybe you could have something at the top to push them down so they can't float...like a piece of wax or something.
