I am thinking that my cakes are a little dry so I was wondering if it is okay to spray them with water directly. Now I don't mean soaking them but will it hurt if I give each cake 1 spray from like a foot away so it only gets a very fine mist (no big droplets)?

Yeah, that's OK. A more better way is to set your cakes atop a tray of damp vermiculite.

Why don't you just dunk the fuckers? You will grow some massive fruits if you do that.

I read that it is not good to get them too wet. Is this true or can you actually dunk them without causing any damage? I think I'm okay now actually...I misted them a little and today I just noticed some pinning! Sweetness!

If your pins get more than an inch long it may be too late to dunk this round. You may need to wait until this flush is done.
