The uniting theme of this post is: Pot is only a-motivating when you're not doing something. I think pot is like an inertia enhancer. If you sit on the couch and smoke pot, you're staying on the couch. If you're cleaning your house, that's going to be one damn clean house.
- Smoking pot and running is awesome. I suspect that there isnt' any more strain on your heart, because your blood vessels dilate anyway when you're hauling ass. A medical study should be done.
- Pot makes me do the dishes. Something about warm water on your hands, and making dirty things clean, and seeing a clean kitchen when you're done really lights me up when i'm smoking and cleaning.
Anybody hear me on this one?

Absolutely. I'm not sure about the exercise thing though. I'd definitely like to see a study that was done on it, or one to be done. I've been wondering about that for a while, but not too many exercise freaks smoke weed.
I agree with you 100% that if i smoke pot on the couch I'm staying there. If I'm cleaning or doing something, I'll continue doing that until it's done and most likely continue onto anything else I have to do.

a agree totally. love to lift/workout when i'm high. also weed helps me sweep/do dishes/do laundry most stuff around the house. also boosts my thinking power.

I'm amazed no one has said yet that they DON'T like doing dishes after smoking. It's actually the one thing that I can't stand to do. Any other cleaning I don't mind but doing dishes I find to be the pits when I'm good and ripped. I guess it just seems like it's taking an eternity while I'm doing it.

I like to do chores first, then get high later and relax. I can so work when I am high, but I prefer not to.

yea, if the dishes need doing, i'll do it before i smoke cause i know there's no way i would do it after i smoke.
as far as exercising, i like smokin then goin on a bike ride on a sunny day

jeezus, yesterday i got nicely blazed and declaired to my roommate "i'm going to clean the fuck out of this house today!!!" and i proceeded to do the pile of dishes all over the kitchen counters and other rooms, clean the counter tops, the stove, vacuum the kitchen, the living room, dust all the furniture, clean the ashes out of the wood stove, clean the bathroom, and organize all our books, dvds, games, and other random shit. it took me a good three hours, but it was all a blur and i had fun doing it. i swear weed is like crack sometimes. and it's so nice to smoke a fatty in a freshly cleaned house.
this place only gets cleaned once every couple months and it is always on a heady rampage by either my roommate or i.
on the exercise, stoned jogging is one of my favourite pasttimes..

AHHHHHHHHHHHH yes! me too! when ever i smoke i always exercise. i do situps and leg things. i also love to strech! i am naturaly flexable but pot always increases my flexablity lots.

its all an illusion
i thought pot didnt interfere with my training and when i stopped smoking i had more air intake,more strength,slept better and didnt need sweets
pot kills the will to fight and throws any kind of healthy diet plan out the window imho
it also takes the edge off problems you might have and induces you to not give a fuck
i still smoke tho

i alwyas get much more homework done when i'm high.
also running high is great... i could run 5 miles easily just because i forget i'm running. i get caught up in my surroundings (i run on a scenic route)

Thats why if you start your day with sitting on the couch and smoking weed, that is probably close to how you will spend it.
If your out and smoking, chances r you wont be on teh couch half passing out tilll much much later. Also smoking weed if you have nothing to do at all and sittign on teh couch make sit alot worse.

but if i study sober and take the test high (or visa versa) its a disaster... i guess the way i remember things when i'm high is different than how i remember things when i'm sober.

I like going to the gym while high. I find that I usually end up getting really into the music on my walkman, and tend to push a little bit harder while doing the cardio simply because I'm into the tunes.
Now and then if I smoke too much - I cant push as hard in general, but if I find that sweet spot, its great.
I'll only smoke and workout once a week though, the other times I'll go at it sober, the saturday "get high and workout" is a bit of an 'end of week treat' for me -- I may not always get the /best/ workout, but its more then I'd be getting if I just sat at home stuffing my face full of chips playing Okami.
As for studying high - it can be a bit hit and miss, I find that in the long run, heavy weed smoking seems to hurt my short term memory, which is actually why I'm planning on giving it a break after next weekend untill the end of the semester. It feels as if I can read a page, and forget whta I had read before I am at the end of the page and need to re-read stuff 3 or 4 times for it to really hold.
