I odered some of Dr. Bluethumbs compost and they said that is cam pastureized but after 2 days after I planted about 2 pints of colinized jars I opened the container to find flies scurring around on the surface of the compost!! What do I do?? I have heard that these flies harm my plantaion. My celial growth has been slow but its getting there. I dunno if its because of the flies. I own a copy of the "The Mushroom cultivator: A practical guide to growing mushrooms at home" and it offers little help, it jsut says that these flies are hazardous to my plantation. Does any one know how to get rid of these pests? any suggestions are welcome.
