Fortunately there is a forum for just about everything here. For me S&P is a debate oriented forum and everything might be challenged for things to develop. Maybe Gomp, your posts would find their niche in the Mysticism forum. No need to debate your posts but just to run with them and let them develop as they are intended. :mushroom2:

You cannot fill up empty space with anything…
If you fill it, it would not be empty space…

Not true....  You could fill the empty space with holes....

Nonexistence doesn't exist.

There is no nonexistence, and no emptiness. It's a completely absurd and impossible concept.

And nonexistence never could exist! Therefore existence doesn't exist either!

The only logical explanation is that nothingness is, in fact, not- that time's cyclical structure somehow warped it into an entity named God, and when God tears his own flesh off from the insanity of it all, his flesh becomes the substance of the universe.

Otherwise I really don't get it.

Are you suggesting that if we are to find something that does not propose a spiritual or philosophical topic for discussion in the original post, that we should just ignore it? This forum has a specific intention and purpose of what ideas flow through it, and it is the responsibility of the original poster to set the tone that falls within that scale, whether or not others start up their own discussion as a result. It is our responsibility to not ignore it when someone hits a note that is out of tune.

I hereby apologize for the nifty musikalsk analogy.

Now THERE is an interesting response...

See any value of it now, Annom!?

Tell me then, PhanTomCat, ...

How can a hole fill anything?

Interesting concept..

More likely, concepts are the problem. Existence can not be a property, because it is the prerequisite to all properties. Existence cannot be substance, because it is the prerequisite for all substances. So "existence" is, in fact, nothing that exists- it precedes everything. We all think in terms of "existence" and verbs like "to be" because that's the best way to oversimplify it into an illusion without thinking about what "to be" entails.

so, as you "claim", if you cannot fill emptyness, than is the reverse false as well? can we not empty fullness?

Edit: Removed the flames, which are agansit forum rules. This is your only warning.

Who can't see the philosophy living it up in this thread?! Seriously. This is the most thoughprovoking thread I have seen today.

Who cares about understanding the first post, when so much good comes from it nevertheless!?

This thread surely spawned something out of nothing. There is never nothing, because once it is, it becomes something. Hahahah... I have proof.

This is quite the question in my opinion. I think it was somewhat philosophical.

How about this....

Empty space is the most natural thing in the universe. It is beginning and is underlying everything else. Empty space is a canvas for which the universe was created over. The little nooks and crannys in the universe, between electrons or whatever (I'm not to big on quantum mechanics)are the basis....

alright so, you cannot fill up empty space with anything
You can't take the most natural things in life, and clutter them with anything.

and this may be a stretch, but I consider this very spirtual in that our primal and natural instincts, should not be cluttered up with random thoughts due to the fact that we were taking out of nature and our natural habitat.

Empty space (the most natural) cannot be filled with anything (thoughts).

i guess the main problem is that the empty space as our natural tendencies CAN and IS filled with unatural thoughts, perhaps this topic should be considered as

You should not fill empty space with anything, hahahah enjoy atleast i tried

Thank you for trying to understand my intention.
But, you fail miserably...

I post in P&S to talk about the content of the posts...
(Which is not allowed in the mystic forum. (..but it is here))

I do not post to "run with them" as you claim.

I post to have conversation about the current topic/content ...

But, I do NOT spell it out for sad people whom cannot understand it, ...
If one can not understand my posts, then do not read them. Posting about how one cannot understand them, is just that...

I like to keep it as open as possible.
