everyone looks familliar
    #618532 - 04/25/02 05:27 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

Everyone i see looks familiar....not everyone, but most people who i make eye contact with look familliar, like i know who they are but just cant place it...It kinda feels like i was watching an old video tape and i was like 'ohh theres jim' or something... Or like 'did i do this before' as if i were on some loop or something. Its a trip.

Pieces of people look familiar to you?
Deja vu?
I don't get it.

Maybe it's the drugs, chief.

the mind works by creating associations to past events/memories so its natural to think someone looks like someone else at first because your brain has "recognized" them essentially making them be the person from your memory (to you at least) so your brain will analyze everything about that person as if they are that person from your memory. often your brain will distort memories and your current visual stimuli to make the assumption that they are the other person, until you conciously find dissimilarities ("oh, she has a different nose than so&so").

When you look into someone's eyes you see your face before you were born. That's why you recognize them

sure they do, cause you know everyone, don't you see, we are all connected, we come from far away, the earth is our playground.
