"Somewhere out there your going to find yourself somewhere in there and I don't know where that in there /out there is but its everywhere and always and were always in there and out there so...... let's go!"
What a fucking jackass.
McKenna is an amazing man for putting up with that shit.

Sorry guys. Doing drugs is fun and all but I think Terence took a little too much in his younger years. I don't agree with that hippy philosophy. Some of the shit he said was valid, but at some parts he sounded like an old burnt out hippy.
By the way I don't see how that guy was being an asshole.

I take Terrence McKenna with a grain of salt the size of this planet.

"The Universe seems to be evolving toward ever greater connection. And the only end that can come to that process is the moment when every point is connected to every other point."
See, I believe that's how things ALWAYS are. Our subjective experience prevents us from seeing that, but that's how it is. Everything is connected. I don't want us all to die and merge and be one big melting pot of energy. Fuck that. I enjoy my life while I've got it.

Nothing. Some guy goes around places and he interviewed Terence McKenna. I guess at the end he said something offending acciording to the OP, but I didn't notice anything.
All in all it was 9 mins of my life that I want back.

Some California douchebag flies around the world, meets some burnt-out hitchhiker, then meets Terrence Mckenna and the two of them sit on McKenna's living room floor waxing philosophical about how between now and 2012 the universe is going to fully reconnect every point of itself to every other point.

I couldn't watch that whole movie, that one guy was quite an obnoxious moron.
Innominate: I personally hold the opposite opinion. The reason I like Terence Mckenna is because he doesn't ramble hippie metaphysics. A lot of people talk in circles, which I like to call metaphysical masturbation. Terence Mckenna is well learnt in a number of sciences and philsophies. He doesn't cling to any one absolute reality tunnel. I doubt if his nasal sounding voice has anything to do with being burnt out, it's just the way he talks.

No I mean 2012, all points at one point all at the same time with lots of energy and stuff. Sounds like my last trip.

This is the first I've heard of him. I'll do some research and get back to you.

There's a lot of worse "assholes" out there.
TM may not have had it all correct but he's surly right about the fact that "Culture is not our friend"
