In all my experiance i have found that taking differnt psychedelics has totally changed how each other one effects. I kinda love this because its like everything is always a new experiance and occasionally the old re-experiancing in a new light. does anyone else experiance this too. Mainly ayahuasca for one person i know, they didnt get any effects from pot and after it they were able to

I wonder if this occurance is similiar to a flashback for the brain. Where your brains nueral pathways connect to those memories made while in a similar state of mind. Thus you have similar experience while ona completely different substance. It totally alters the old experience by making new pathways during your trip, so while it might be like, it is infact a whole new branch of pathways being made.
Did that make sense? Pretty wild when you think about it. That your brain recognizes an altered state, and totally links the memories together. wow...

I've definitely experienced this with pot and mushies. Before tripping, I never would have thought pot could have psychedelic qualities, but after trying shrooms, smoking pot has a much more trippy feel to it (thought patterns, trancing out on music, etc). I'm interested in trying acid and seeing how that affects my perception of these two drugs.

bingo thats kinda where i was going with it, it rewires and makes shit work way better i can smoke a grain of pot and be set for a week and smoke a bowl and have a full ayahuasca experiance. its about finding cold moutain as han-shan said I've lived at Cold Mountain - how many autumns.
Alone, I hum a song - utterly without regret.
Hungry, I eat one grain of Immortal medicine
Mind solid and sharp; leaning on a stone.
On top of Cold Mountain the lone round moon
Lights the whole clear cloudless sky.
Honor this priceless natural treasure
Concealed in five shadows, sunk deep in the flesh.
btw han-shan means cold moutain poeple are unsure if he was a real person but he is, was, and will be. i live on cold moutain too

I always have minor mushie like visuals now when I smoke.... things get really vibrational...
After dosing really strong on LSD every blue moon (5-10 hits) i will get LSD tracers and other LSD like visuals for months afterward...
This truely is the gift the keeps on giving...

Somebody must've done a formal study on this occurance at some point. It seems like there is definately a more finite explanation for the phenomena. At least more than, "it triggers similar memories". Like how does your subconscience decide that even though completely different neuro transmitters ar being used and tickled, that it should relate these particular neurotransmitters with other less normal ones.
I'll bet theres been at least one study correlating LSD and pot use.

well i remember on erow there was one on HPPD but this is differnt well it would most likely work in the same manner as post tramatic stress or depression you feel a certain why cause the trama or a death of someone which is tramatic and you subconsciencly make neruotramsmiters go not right same with horomones and stuff

I've found that LSD seems to have 'flavoured' other psychedelics I do, mushrooms now seem far more acid-like then they used to - still very distinct in their own way, but theres a little something 'extra' to my shroom trips now compared to when I first started tripping and never touched mush.
Same with ketamine actually - there is a certian 'cartoonyness' that comes with it now that wasnt there before, and reminds me of LSD.

it's just cool concept. I can't say that I have experienced it myself though, but then I've never done LSD.

I definately believe that tripping changes your outlook on life and also the way your high is as a result. My high is more spiritual than it used to be. I really like it.
