Bird Seed

About a week and a half ago I filled a pint jar up with finch/millet seeds and added water to a ratio of 2:1 (seed/water). I pressure cooked it for an hour and a half.
After it cooled down I injected with 5ml of mycelium water. So far there is no signs of growth I do give it a shake now and again but still nothing. I have used the mycelium syringes on normal pf cakes and had full colanisation within 2 weeks. Anyone any idea why it is takeing so long.

Sounds like bacterial infection.I have added 1ml hydrogen peroxide to 5 ml water to quart jar,sometimes they take off.

May be But I have been realy carfuly super sterile
washing everything down with with bleach always using the oven tek.
But I have just noticed that the jars are cold so i am using a plant heat pad.
Hopefully this will work.

How did you make your mycellium syringe? I use 2/3 bird and 1/3 sparklets water pressure cook for 45 min from the time it starts hissing. If you cooked it for too long it might not have enough water. But if you didnt get enough mycelium in the syringe It wouldnt grow anyway.

If you let the temperature swing more than 10-15 degrees,they are sucking in dirty air as they cool.filter disks work great when you cannot precisely control the temperature.
