Tall, skinny fruits.

I am using a Homestead EZ-Gro kit an I am on my first flush, but I have run into a small problem. The fruits I am getting are tall and skinny and have no color what so ever. This is pissing me off because I know when they dry out the are gonna weigh virtually nothing. Has anyone else run into this problem??

Sounds like they have too little light and too little air exchange(too high CO2 levels).

Yes, Anno, I was thinking too much CO2 buildup. But I'm a newbie, so I don't want to misinform on a presumption...
Well, you should probably fan 'em once a day....and give 'em some light on the cool (blue) side of the spectrum.... a cheap spiral flourescent 100w bulb from lowes should do nicely.

Hmmm...my neighbors Hephalump is having a similar problem. Tons of pins (On PF cakes) but skinny fruits.
She was under the impression that low air exchange caused fat-asses. The humidity seems ok, but perhaps the temp is a bit low.
She was also under the impression that light was not that imprtant. Are you talking about the duration of the light cycle? Or the intensity? Please elaborate.
