Keeping Humidity down....?

in my teranium for the fuiting to take place i need the humidity down lower...

i am using a 1 1/2 inch layer of perlite and keep it at a 1/2 inch of water...

but the RH stays really high and i was wondering if it was safe to crack the top open just a little bit to keep the humity at optimal conditions?? could contaminents, contaminate a fruiting cake??

yes, but we all run that risk
is it was safe to crack the top open just a little bit to keep the humity at optimal conditions??
do it, or cut holes in the sides and slap on fliter disks...

aight thanx...

i think ill be going with just crackin the top open....

i can regulate the RH easier by lessening or greatening the size of the opening on the top...
