How to make grow bags at home?

Grow bags seem to be catching on as a great new way to grow.what makes these bags so special?how can one constuct there own homemade grow bags?how many different types of grow bags are there? how can I make each one? -thanks-

They are great because you don't have to make them. You don't have to do much. They come presteralized and with self-healing inoculation sites. All you do is spray some spore solution in it, then put it in a box until it colonizes. They just take out of the box and put some light on it. Then you have shrooms. Just spray down the bag after each flush.

you need an impulse sealer, some grains, and some fp bags.

Go get the turkey oven bag.Mix in proper ratio grain/water supplements etc.When you PC dont let material touch the sides so use a coffee can or metal bowl,etc. as a mold.For those of you with no pressure cooker,2 tiny slits 6 inches apart in a 350 oven two hours.They diffuse 02 through the fabric, so in essence they breath.If you take the proper precautions you can create very large growing masses this way.

just order the bags with self healer inject site add your own grain or substrate
Pressure cook then you got your own grow bags

The best way to do bags ---- is, buy 1000 of the 2.2 mil, 18 X 24 from UNICORN BAG. Order # 8519 - 00.

0.10 cents ea., or $100 per thousand, plus shipping = $25 more. 1000 bags cost you $125. These stay soft, pliable & clear as glass after PC"ing.

These have no filter patch or injector site. No sealer needed. Simply use any large bore automotive heater or radiator hose, in 2 or 3 inch peices as a neck ring. Fill bag w/whatever, slide neck of bag through hose, double back over neck ring, apply any filter & rubber band it over ring & PC.

After it is COOL, If you use a spore syringe, simply inject through bag & tape or silicone seal the tiny hole. If your doing grain to grain transfer (prefered method), PC full bags, cool in PC, open, add colonized grain, rings & filter & your good to go.

PS. PC ring neck & filter, w/bag(s), to insure they are sterile.
