Mycobag ready for Fruiting?
    #616919 - 04/24/02 01:43 AM (15 years, 2 months ago)

Just wondering if I should fruit this bag. I know you can still see some of the grains, the mycelium wont seem to grow pushed up against the bag. Should I take it from the incubator and fruit it tomorrow, or let it go a few more days?

Are you going to case it?
I thought the idea behind the bags was that they're a sterile environment for inoculation, colonization, and fruiting...

If it's all colonized and you're not doing a casing then you should wait until they've fruited and are ready for cropping to do anything to the bag...

It looks pretty much colonized, if there is any more area that could be covered w/mycelium it'll still grow out of the incubator
