In 1982 Gingrich also sponsored a bill intended to end the Federal prohibition on marijuana as medicine.

How does he go from that to the death penalty??? I wonder why he changed his mind???

maybe some drug Dealer ripped him off!

I could never sum up what it is about her that I don't like... and you just nailed it. Thank you!

Somebody that is not a professional politician and somebody that does not believe the government should be responsible for the legislation of moral values.

Well.. we'd be at war about.. oh.. say.. once a month..

Oh yea.. and I'd vote for Colbert!

As far as Gingrich's 1982 bill .. who knows.. he was a lot younger then. The bill I was talking about was proposed int he mid-90's. Haven't you ever had a friend that used to do drugs and now they're all preachy preachy anti-drug?

Gore, anyone worthy of an endorsement from Marc Emery is worthy of a vote from me. I really hope he runs because this country is not ready for a female president so it wouldn't really be a fair race.

Sorry, but I am not going to vote for somebody that flies around the country in their gas guzzling jet aircraft telling me how bad I am for using fuel and killing the planet. Reminds me of Clinton (before he got elected) when I saw him at an evironmental event with a styrofoam coffee cup in his hand.

I am also not going to vote for somebody that sat by and watched for eight years as more than 700,000 american citizens were put in prison for the crime of smoking cannabis.

If you have anyone in particular in mind that has a chance of winning that didn't stand by and watch please tell me.

No.  In the past, I had a registered address in the US, and was working down here on contract.  I could vote through an absentee ballot.  (Un)fortunately, I am no longer a US resident, so I cannot sneak around the system.

I will seriously concider voting Libertarian as well. They most closely match what I desire from this country.

Meh. I've made the mistake of voting Libertarian just because the guy was libertarian. I voted for Badnarik last election, but now whenever I look back at his speeches, I'm struck by how idiotic he is. But I have no regrets about voting for Jim Gray.
