colonization problems!! HELP!

well my cakes is about 93% colonized, and been like that for the pass 2 weeks. THAT IS A LONG WHILE!! ITS STALLING!!
so i was just wondering, since i was planning on casing anyways, if it is possible to take out the cake now , break it up and put it in my casing container and see if it will finish colonizing in that. and ofcourse ill mist it a little just incase its stalling because of dehydration.
think it will pop the cake back on track and finish colonizing??
Ofcourse ANY help will be greatly noted.

if the tape is on, take it off. if the bottom is stalled, flip it and bang it on the counter. if the spot looks wet and greasy, might be bacteria. just let it sit for a while, if you do take it out now, cut off the part. if you let it set out and try to let it finish there is a good chance it will contaminate.
