You didn't like Donnie Darko? I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the concept.
Ah, and I just remembered, I saw Science of Sleep last weekend. I really liked it. Some people said it was too strange, or pretentious in an attempt to be different for the sake of being different, but I disagree. It is rather strange, but I totally dug it. Really fun dream sequences.. and the main character was the kind of guy you envy and pity at the same time. Good stuff

V for vendetta is by far the best movie I have seen in years.
But, you ALL have to check out, Return to the source, Philosophy and the Matrix, its a doc, but its VERY interresting, I have only seen the first movie, but now I really want to see the other 2, I cant belive how much there is to these movies, so ya, I know most of you have seen all 3(I assume), but check out Return to the source. You will appreciate the Matrix so much more

I second a lot of the movies that have been mentioned, and I also suggest:

Yeah, this one guy I really respect hated Donnie Darko too, much to my surprise. He claimed he'd read some mess about it being intended as a super hero movie about destiny ("Donnie Darko cheats death. You're like a super-hero man!").
I dunno about all that... I love it and definitely read more into it than just that. The soundtrack is great too.

Is that the movie about a world brain washed by anti-d's in the future??? Or is that another movie??
The matrix has 3 movies, and if you like the devils rejects, I say you might be wrong about the matrix being worse, we shall see.

ya Natural born killers is good, im actually surprized only one person mentioned that. A pretty crazy...but good movie. I think it was banned in the us or something for a while because of how violent it was. Althrough there are tons of movies that are alot more violent and greusome then that. Its just filmed in a certain way that makes it seem extra bad in NBK
another movie you all GOTA watch is
-The King of Comedy-, its with robert deniro, AND ITS AUSOME
its such a good movie, i think its actually alot better then any other deniro movie ive seen.

I'm actually watching a movie right now that reminds me a lot of Tenebre and it's called The Gore Gore Girls.
Also mentioned above me, King Of Comedy. Actually a pretty decent movie. Robert Deniro is an aspiring comedien willing to do anything to get his big chance.
Some other movies that I'd certainly recommend are
Bad Taste Blue Velvet (or anything by David Lynch) The War Of The Roses Treasure Of The Sierra Madre Bullitt Tombstone True Romance Monty Python and The Holy Grail Pink Floyd Live In Pompeii
That's all that I can think of off of the top of my head, but as someone that owns well over 1,000 movies, I could probably go on forever.

I dono if it was recommended, but Easy Rider. Its a movie about drugs and the 1960's. But its actually really good!!!!!!!! Jack Nicolas is in it, and at his best!
Theirs an acid trip scene, and all of the weed they used was real. It has great music, and amazing cinematography. I think Jack won an academy award for best supporting actor too. My avatar is from the movie.

Almost all of my favorite movies have already been said above.
American Psycho, the one with Christian Bale, is quite good. It's so funny for some reason...
