Judging from the gill descriptions, Id say none are active...however, you'd want to really take some pictures to make sure!!

Chances are they are poisonous. Smaller chance they are edible, and a slimmer that they would be active. (This goes with saying with all mushrooms, worldwide).

I would definetly, without a doubt, never eat a mushroom that hasn't been properly id'ed.

Um, well AngryShroom is a moderator, I'm on the trusted name list, you don't have any pictures and your descriptions don't mention the size of the mushroom anywhere; you've been told that New Jersey isn't a great place for active mushrooms in another thread, nothing you've described sounds active, the third one is likely poisonous. In fact, the probability of them being poisonous is probably somewhere on the order of 10 times more likely than them being active.

No one else on this website is going to tell you any differently. Let's see the pictures, then the discussion can resume. Until then, DONT EAT ANY OF THEM - YOU COULD DIE.

That would be probably the dumbest thing you could ever do and very likely the last dumb thing you would ever do. I suggest you take the very real possibility of dieing a bit more seriously.

I guess we may have a welcome change in the gene pool soon. As you have been told multiple times there are very few active species in NJ. If you are serious about hunting read up on Panaeolus subbalteatus and
Psilocybe graveolens. Those are the two known active's in your area. If your goal is not just actives buy a book on edibles and read up.

My goal is simply actives. And i would read about either except theres practically nothing but a sack of fried shit written about either.

Well picking mushrooms with a lack of knowledge of what "exactly" your trying to pick will more then likely send you on a ticket to liquid shit spewing forth from your anal cavities and dry heaving the last remnants of your bologna sandwhich.

Knowledge is power my friend.

Okay, I'll tell you what...

This time of year, your best bet would be Panaleous subbalteatus. Other species of actives are not very common in your area.

Next, your habitat is not going to produce any active mushrooms in your area.

I think you were assuming you're looking for Psilocybe cyanescens. Unfortuently they have yet to be found anywhere near your area.

Lastly, it is ridiculous to say you are looking strictly for actives, and that is the only thing you are interested in. Picking mushrooms is a dangerous hobby. You dont just go out looking to get high and try picking random shit. Do you go around picking plants and eating them? No...

So go out and buy a book or do some reading. Dont be a dick and maybe people will help you out more.
