I haven't tried Blue Velvet, but Eraserhead also by David Lynch was much more interesting on mushrooms than sober.

I think pretty much everything by David Lynch is interesting. Eraserhead scared the shit out of me when I was stoned. But you gotta love a movie that has the ability to do that! :wink: You should try out 2001 : A Space Odyssey, or try playing Pink Floyd's 'Echoes' with the final section of 2001. Amazing stuff!

If you want to witness something REALLY weird, watch Dark Side of the Rainbow (Wizard of Oz synchronicised with Dark Side of the Moon). Mindblowing. Scary, halirious and amazing at the same time. http://users.boone.net/brittanma/introduction.html

I just watched Mullholland Drive today.
I thought it sucked balls.

Lost Highway made no sense but at least it was entertaining.
Blue Velvet is good too.
